The 20-episode BBC Reality TV show initially titled Wanted Down Under will thus
follow the lives of five immigrant families from Britain as they settle in Australia

Australian, Melissa Kent has the inside scoop on Wanted Down Under. This week, the
show is tailing the Larner family from Reading, near London. Electrician Paul, his
wife Gemma and children Coby, 7, and Jorden, 5, have been considering emigrating to
Australia for four years and have applied for a skilled migrant visa.

The Larners have already inspected prospective homes in the northern suburbs at par
with theirs back home in London, while yesterday Mr. Larner put in a morning's work
with an electrical business in Iluka.

So far, the Larners have positive sentiments towards Perth, Australia. "The roads
are a bit scary and the wages are not so good, but Australia offers a better
lifestyle and a better upbringing for our children," Mrs Larner said. "If it was up
to Paul we would be out here in a shot but I'm quite homey and family is really
important. We will go home and have a good think about it."

The TV series is set to run in January of 2007. As for now, Australian immigration,
